Automatic roughener - PGO
The automatic FASTBIND PGO (Paper Grain
Opening System) roughener, with twin
rippers, bursts the paper surface and opens
the grain, allowing the glue to penetrate
deeply into the paper. The unique
construction of FASTBIND PGO makes it
possible to keep the bursting process
noiseless and paper dust free. This allows
the FASTBIND machines to be used in any
environment.
Automatic thickness adjustment
Final strength is given to the book by the
automatic nipping of the spine. This process
squares the cover spine automatically to
exactly fit the spine of the book block. The
system self adjusts automatically to
different thicknesses and page formats,
allowing non-stop production between
different binding jobs.
